Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 benchmarking

Last year we released a bunch of white papers. One, that was liked by many, is the white paper on how to optimize the performance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 for the Enterprise. It talked about what benefits Microsoft Dynamics CRM can provide to enterprise class organizations, described details on how to get a 6000 seat benchmark, hardware configuration and last but not least gave a summary of key test parameters and results achieved in this test. Even before we released our current version, I already received a lot of questions asking if we would publish something similar for v4.0. Well, I have some good news!
Microsoft, together with Unisys Corporation, completed benchmark testing of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 running on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database software. Yes, you read that correct, a benchmark or some spanking new products! Please read the full benchmark here in PDF format.
The real freaks want more right? You want to learn how to optimize and maintain existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 installations and you prefer reading this stuff over the weekend! Check this white paper, it describes tons of stuff how to tweak your CRM installation(s) in a supported manner and has links to additional information and resources, such as performance enhancements, security updates, Knowledge Base articles, and related Microsoft Dynamics CRM documentation
