Some of you mind recall that Benjamin Lecoq, who now lives in sunny Spain, made a diagnostic tool for v3.0. This tool was really helpful in enabling tracing, creating machine reports and lots more for v3.0 client and server. Today, I learned Benjamin released the CrmDiagTool specifically for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Server. This is great news as I have been asked many times why the CRM product team only built a diagnostic tool for the CRM for Outlook Client.

So, like I started explaining above, the major difference is that this CrmDiagTool for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 only works server side. We already have a Diagnostic Wizard that is part of the CRM for Outlook Client Installation.
