CRM4IFDTool corrupt?
April 5, 2008 00:55 by menno

Yesterday I received an email asking for assistance with the IFD tool as it was believed that it was or got corrupted after downloading. I downloaded the tool and wanted to start it from my download folder and received an error as well.

With a little research and reading, something I obviously didn't do, I figured out that you're officially supposed to extract the CRM4IFDTOOL.zip into the following directory drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Tools and then run it.

On other solution is to copy the required file Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Logging.dll to the working directory of the CRM4IFDTool.

Good Post Menno!
I never read the manuals as well, and therefor I just couldn't get this thing to work.... and kept configuring IFD manually.

I'll try again and see if this helps Smile
